“Upper West Side classic”
In a safe quiet Upper West Side pocket — Central Park, the Natural History Museum and the Met all walkable, with convenient dining downstairs — The Lucerne Hotel is a nice excellent-value Manhattan stay: a quite big large room by city standards, a very convenient position and a characterful old-hotel feel that made it one guest's most comfortable New York stay. Notes: rooms run smallish per some, and the bathroom is cramped.
