“Central gem with Michelin-grade breakfast”
Singer Palace Hotel Roma sits amid the old town — guests pass the Trevi Fountain dozens of times walking everywhere; staff greet warmly, store luggage for 9:30am arrivals and confirm taxis pre-departure; a terrace room was one guest's best stay; the included semi-buffet breakfast is Michelin-restaurant quality. Sharp dissent though: a confirmed pre-paid booking was repriced weeks later over a hotel error, leaving the guest paying or losing; rooms run small with duvet-less bedding; breakfast repeats too sweet for some; and one guest who overran checkout met a harsh, intransigent phone call — days after staff had moved their belongings without issue.
