Pacific View Inn is an oceanfront San Diego hotel — a fabulous uncrowded location walking distance to many restaurants, a full kit of beach supplies (sunscreen, sunglasses, flip-flops, towels and chairs) that guests were thankful for, great friendly accommodating staff, and real ocean views from the small rooms. The complaints: a room leaked water across the floor and kept leaking after a dry-up offer; random long hairs covered the bathroom, toilet and sink at arrival with a mildew smell; a partial view room actually had none — dark with tiny windows; housekeeping swapped towels but skipped beds and floors; AC work left everything damp including suitcase clothes; poor pillows and a gap under the door; no parking area (street rules apply) and no ice machine.
