De Phanakron Boutique Hotel is a wonderful mini-museum-feel stay — beautiful uniquely-decorated very nice rooms, a suite that's basically two connected bedrooms with two bathrooms and small showers and a very comfortable bed, an especially-good choose-your-style breakfast (Thai, Chinese, English or Mexican — all tasty), very polite super helpful kind staff, and a clean beautiful interior; guests rate it exquisite. Caveats though: amenities are limited and there is no soundproofing — tricky for light sleepers.
