Silavadee Pool Spa Resort is an amazing honeymoon-best stay — a high-privacy hillside resort with beautiful ocean views, private pools, a huge clean room with a big balcony, a surprise bottle of sparkling wine and dessert at check-in, a spotless pool where staff promptly bring iced lemon water, twice-a-day tidying with fresh ice and afternoon snacks, Chinese-speaking desk staff, and an excellent breakfast mixing Western buffet and à la carte — the lobster rolls with big chunks and fried rice drew special love. Caveats though: the elevated setting is remote — no convenience store nearby — and the Star restaurant dinner was only passable; a guest regretted not booking two nights.
