Best forgroups · glamping fans
Awaumi, a unique glamping-feel resort near Lake Kawaguchiko, pairs DIY BBQ rooms with a supermarket run; amenities are full, drinks and bath salts come free, and a pool lounges wide — cold in season. Kind staff ease the post-Fuji-climb fatigue. Watch-outs: summer bugs and big spiders come with the glamping territory, one room carried an odor, checkout is ten, and Mount Fuji hides behind weather.
