A short river-and-crossings walk from Akihabara station — calmer than the main streets — Super Hotel Premier packs real value for Tokyo: an onsen, evening welcome drinks, choosable pillows, pajamas and laundromats, with quiet clean rooms and a nice desk. Gripes: one slow elevator, stuffy un-cooled hallways, paired single beds with a separating mattress, small baths and cleaning that stops after ten.
