A cozy quiet glamping resort near Fuji, Hanz wins families with two friendly sheep, Taro and Jiro, a climbing wall kids love, onsen and a big bath. Villas beat the tent-style Pao rooms, which showed bugs and wall stains excusable in camping country. A generous BBQ dinner and DIY orange-juice-and-egg breakfasts round it out. English is thin but staff are kind via translation apps; checkout is an early ten.
