Best forsightseers · culture seekers
Right at Kaminarimon gate — Sensoji effectively next door, crowds and transport below — Kaminarimon Ryokan offers spacious-by-Tokyo tatami rooms that feel like stepping into an anime scene, with great views and famously friendly service. Watch-outs are small: futon living can wear on longer stays, and one guest found a stray hair on the slippers, the only smudge on an otherwise spotless visit.
