Best forcouples · first ryokan stays
Gora Saryo, a small-capacity Hakone ryokan, draws on personal attention — the host's warmth earns special thanks, yukata come in chosen sizes and colors, dinners are long interesting affairs with sushi made before you, breakfasts are generous, and futon sleeping completes the traditional experience. Private onsen tubs book in fifty-minute slots, the alcohol costs extra, and repeat promises come easily.
