Best forfamilies · buffet lovers
A classic big Kinugawa onsen hotel where evening entertainment is free and the buffets — dinner and breakfast alike — win repeated praise for variety. Big clean tatami rooms fit four easily, the large baths soak well, a private pair of tubs books by the hour, and a ping-pong room and performances keep nights lively. The station needs a bus or long walk, and one guest found the spring water quality merely okay.
