“Aloft Gran Via's Chinatown-adjacent spot”

Aloft Madrid Gran Via is a clean, high-value hotel in a prime Gran Via position — right opposite bubble-tea shops and across from Miniso and Popmart, tidy rooms with smooth 24-hour hot water and good soundproofing for quiet nights, easy street parking, close dining and shopping, a 24-hour gym, friendly staff who waived an early check-in fee, and a responsive owner. Complaints: the desk once lost a reservation, a twin room was far too small, a cold-water shut-off valve meant only scalding water came out initially, and there is no elevator — upper floors mean hauling luggage.

Rooms: Clean, tidy rooms; a twin felt tiny.
Service: Friendly staff; one reservation was lost.
Location: A prime Gran Via spot near shops.
Facilities: A 24-hour gym; there is no elevator.
Value: A high-value stay for the location overall.
