Super central on the shopping belt — Puerta del Sol minutes, the big museums and most sights walkable, a twenty-four-hour supermarket downstairs — Gran View Apartments is an excellent second-family stay: a big better-than-photos apartment, a great rooftop-bar view, a cookable kitchen for homesick meals, a warm translator-assisted front desk, easy luggage storage and kid approval. Cautions though: cleaning is a paid booked extra, desk bags for self-run trash, average cleanliness and not-comfy bedding for one.
