“Square-front Krakow icon, musty once”
Hotel Wentzl occupies a historic, art-lined building directly on Kraków's main market square — superb views, a well-liked bistro and terrace, a good breakfast and staff who quickly arrange airport transfers and accommodate quiet-room requests with local food tips. Cars cannot enter the square, so expect a fifty-metre bag drag. One stay went wrong: an outdated room smelled enough that the window stayed open all visit, the coffee maker and Bluetooth speaker were broken, and emails to arrange an anniversary went unanswered — though a desk agent was still called super helpful.
