The Tanneries Hotel & Spa is an amazing exceptional stay for most — a beautiful newer oceanfront property where all rooms face the sea and about half have balconies, breathtaking Aegean sunset views, immaculate beautifully-designed incredibly-comfortable rooms with standout beds and linens, excellent amenities, and a warm professional team generous with local recommendations. Caveats though: a severe dissent reports the sunset-view restaurant's host seated a guest indoors despite an advance reservation while outdoor tables sat empty — only insistence moved them outside, which the reviewer calls obvious discrimination — and water shoes are needed for the sea near the property.
