“Spotless airport-side stop, surprisingly good”
Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan impresses for its airport-adjacent position — just minutes from Mactan airport — that guests say beats nearby five-stars. Rooms are pristine with an incredibly comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, staff welcome even late-night arrivals warmly, early check-in is granted at half rate and even non-members get a welcome drink, and staff share genuinely useful local tips. Breakfast is delicious, and restaurants and supermarkets surround the hotel. Minor notes: the shower temperature swings hot to cold, and ferry traffic can slow the approach.
