“HGI Waikiki's convenient beach block”
Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach, Honolulu is a clean, convenient Waikiki hotel — two hundred steps to the beach across the big supermarket, the zoo and ABC stores near, public transport outside, an upper-floor public pool and drinking-water taps tea-lovers enjoyed, a microwave in rooms, high-floor views, a simple Japanese-leaning breakfast, polite staff, and a lively shopping area with a famous ramen spot. The complaints: a fifty-dollar daily resort fee that provided nothing — housekeeping and reception phones went unanswered, and disposable slippers weren't offered; plus slightly weak shower pressure.
