Holiday Inn Bangkok by IHG is a great value-for-money stay — an excellent location convenient to all the shopping malls, a clean comfortable room with good makeup service even in the older south wing, friendly nice staff who try their best with queries, and a definite comeback from repeat guests. Caveats though: the bed could be bigger, the fridge cooler, and one housekeeper did not replenish the shower-cream bottle despite a reminder.
