“Hotel Paris Prague's elegant stay, failures”
Hotel Paris Prague is a clean, elegant Prague hotel — a perfect location close to the Powder Tower and Old Town Square, walkable from the main station with trams, metro and a department store near (Bolt reaches the airport in thirty), a great varied breakfast, and always-helpful staff; the old-building quirks (weak heating, few outlets) are outweighed by charm. Two severe complaints: night bathwater backed sewage into a tub — stench, hair and garbage — unfixable past midnight, so the guest was sent to the spa bath (least comfortable five-star ever); and an executive room delivered a window facing a pipe shaft — a claimed upgrade — dark by day, swapped only after a demand; the replacement still lacked the pictured sofa.
