Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo is an excellent well-located stay with real caveats — directly on the canal in San Marco with water-bus and taxi access at the entrance, an incredible-view huge room and a spacious connecting option with a small living area, a surprise in-room jacuzzi with marble walls and strong jets, a peaceful breakfast in the private garden, and a friendly concierge and staff. Caveats though: a severe report describes window soundproofing so poor that cargo-ship engines woke the guest at six, and a stranger opening the door with a key at nine the next morning — a safety lapse that badly dented the stay.
