“Palazzina Grassi's mirrors”
Palazzina Grassi is a very nice bright stay — a modern cozy unique hotel on a Venice canal with its own dock for water taxis (the concierge helpfully arranged one from the station and to the airport), an extremely warm simplified check-in, photogenic mirror-wrapped rooms that run smaller in reality, complete facilities, super comfortable bedding, ample heating, and careful housekeeping. Caveats though: a family suite turned out to be two adjoining superior rooms rather than a true suite, which was not disclosed, and canal views are not assured despite the canalside position.
