Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach is an excellent nice stay — a friendly well-equipped resort with everything needed, a beautiful environment, a very private beach, three amazing pools, and an on-site restaurant that earns its keep since the location is not convenient for eating out — guests stayed in for lunch. Caveats though: the ocean entrance is really stony — one guest could not imagine kids or anyone swimming, most guests used the pool only — and it was the first Phuket hotel one reviewer saw not giving bottled water at breakfast.
