Rosewood Phuket is a green, serene hillside resort — anniversary-perfect — with buggy service everywhere, big rooms cleaned twice daily, daily fresh fruit and pastries, a comfortable pool, a private beach whose sand and water beat Patong's, free kayaking and fish-watching, and warm staff beloved by children. Breakfast is an à-la-carte or ordering-style spread with great ingredients, and the Thai restaurant is called a must-try — though one guest flatly disliked it and another found the Italian menu mistranslated. Real notes: poor soundproofing lets noisy neighbours through, the check-in lobby is hot and outdoors, paths are steep, rooms run dim, bugs appeared at one basin, nothing is walkable — nearest 7-Eleven fifteen minutes — and no send-off was offered at departure.
