“Handy Nice station base, generous freebies”
Hotel 66 Nice sits around the corner from the station — ideal for Monaco-bound travellers — with comfortable clean rooms, balcony views of French facades, the most comfortable bedding some have slept on, and unusually generous freebies: a 24/7 coffee bar, bottled water, an ice machine, tissues and slippers. Staff are polite and patient. Watch-outs: flying insects appeared repeatedly in one room, a ground-floor room borders noisy neighbours' yards, wifi vanished for a day, and check-in requires a card-only deposit — no cash or Apple Pay.
