“Riverside Florence four-star with rooftop pool”
Hotel Kraft is a repeat-guest favourite a short riverside walk from Florence's historic centre — large impressive rooms (many with big balconies), a gorgeous rooftop bar and restaurant serving a good buffet breakfast with Duomo views, and a heated rooftop pool still swimmable in late October. Reception is very helpful, the bar and restaurant staff attentive, and a parking garage serves drivers; the quiet surroundings mean supermarkets sit a little far. It earns its four stars.
