“Krabi's dragon pool”
Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort centres on an enormous dragon-boat-shaped pool, kept very clean, with resort activities running yoga, Muay Thai, Thai language, padel, golf and tennis, weekend band performances, an on-site clinic that calmly treated a guest's injury, well-equipped rooms with lovely views, a big breakfast with dedicated coffee and tea service, and shops within walking distance. Notes: tennis carries a fee some felt undeserved given the court condition, and breakfast flavours missed for one guest.
