Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu is a peaceful lovely stay — a resort with a nice beach, loved pool and beach facilities, a great yummy breakfast buffet, lovely views, a peaceful environment good for families, clean well-organized everything, and attentive friendly staff delivering hospitality at its best. Caveats though: the room facilities run a bit dated and the soundproofing is very poor, though the service still outclasses other local hotels.
