Queen Victoria Hotel by Newmark is a perfect tip-top stay — superfriendly supportive charming staff who go out of their way, rooms with Table Mountain views, very comfortable spotless interiors, a great breakfast, a dedicated self-park area right outside in a safe security bubble, and a location very close to the waterfront and perfect for exploring Cape Town. Caveats though: there is no valet parking, and the pool is not actually on site — it is reached via a small car-park area, which repeat guests knew in advance.
