Hotel Cumbres Lastarria is an excellent Santiago stay in the heart of the bohemian Lastarria neighborhood — beautiful quiet comfortable rooms (on the smaller side but no problem), a nice delicious breakfast buffet, a pool view, a wine bar and restaurant, and a cozy lounge with free coffee and desserts. Walking distance to restaurants, parks and the center, with a standout Italian panini spot 150 metres away. Exceptional staff from check-in to valet prompted extended stays; one guest did note the area can feel sketchy at times.
