“Hotel Ismael's park perch”
Hotel Ismael is a modern clean hotel opposite a shady park in a safe artsy Santiago neighborhood — balcony rooms, a nice rooftop deck and pool (unheated once), a delicious varied included breakfast, walkable attractions and restaurants, and friendly family-like staff. Caveats though: a three-hour city power outage made a winter stay cold, and the pool water disappointed.
