The Pier House Resort is a loved Key West resort — nice older rooms with spectacular ocean-view balconies and amazing rain-shower pressure, an excellent on-site restaurant, an enjoyed beach-pool area with bar, next-door bike rentals for amphitheater concerts, a can't-beat location, and exceptionally-friendly staff; desk agent Levi walked one guest between two rooms to choose. Caveats though: drawer and cupboard hardware proved hard to open, and the property shows its age.
