“Florence charmer three minutes to Duomo”
Hotel la Gemma is a beautiful 2023-renovated boutique in the heart of Florence — three minutes to the Duomo, everything inside ten — with impeccably clean, classy rooms in high-quality materials, great beds and exceptionally helpful staff who once upgraded a returning guest and chilled champagne for a birthday. Breakfast is a major highlight, plated rather than buffet. Honest notes: rooms run smaller than expected — one guest felt it falls short of full five-star luxury — and bathroom sinks are small. The spa and rooftop lounge with city views are loved.
