“Central Florence stay, pest fumble”
Hotel Calimala Florence sits in the prime heart of the city near the Duomo — tasteful quiet-amid-bustle rooms, a quality breakfast, a warm front desk and a pool and gym. One guest's stay went wrong: a cockroach crawled onto their leg in the lobby, the AC self-activated, window drafts persisted after a room swap, cleaners disturbed repeatedly (and skipped once), and bottled water confirmed free was charged at checkout. A dim window view and dead lamp were smaller knocks; two Calimalas sit nearby, so confirm the right one.
