DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne is an everything-perfect stay — super clean small rooms with an unbeatable city-skyline view, a great breakfast buffet, the great free cookies, a superb heart-of-CBD location opposite Flinders Street Station with a tram stop steps away and cafes, restaurants and stores all around, amazing service, and great value; guests always stay. Caveats though: the tiny room and a noisy patch — midnight sirens around the Flinders area bothered one light sleeper.
