Violino d'Oro Venezia is a stylish new five-star boutique minutes from St Mark's Square — beautiful Venetian art-style interiors without palace excess, comfortable tech-savvy rooms, and a famously friendly team (Winter included) who proactively offer drinks. Breakfast is excellent and included, the bar and dinner service are strong, and a gondola stop sits right outside — reception can book you past the queue.
